PASS Super Late Model Series to make first visit of 2015 at SoBo on Saturday, June 6

SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — The Super Late Models of the Pro All Star Series (PASS) will make their debut appearance of the 2015 campaign at America’s Hometown Track on Saturday, June 6.

The PASS Super Late Model 150 racing program will get cranked up at 7 p.m. on the historic four-tenths mile asphalt oval and will also feature twin 75-lap races for the drivers in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.

Adding to the night of racing excitement will be 25-lap events for the touring Legends Car Series and Midgets.

The PASS Super Late Models will also visit South Boston Speedway this season in August.

Two-time NASCAR Whelen All American Series national champion Lee Pulliam, who is coming off a victory this past weekend, currently sits atop the standings in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.

Pulliam, who has recorded four victories at America’s Hometown Track thus far this season, owns a seven-point advantage over Matt Bowling in the chase for the 2015 South Boston Speedway NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.

Juan Garcia is third in the Late Model Stock Car Division standings. He is just five point ahead of fourth-place Austin Thaxton. Quin Houff rounds out the top five in the division’s championship point standings.

Registration and pit gates will open on Saturday, June 6 at noon. Practice for all divisions will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Grandstand gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and qualifying time trials will crank up at 4:45 p.m. A Fan Appreciation session will be held prior to racing action from 6 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.

Advance tickets for the PASS Super Late Model 150 racing program are on sale and priced at $10 each. Advance tickets can be purchased until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5.

Adult general admission tickets will be priced at $15 on race day. Children, ages six and under, will be admitted free with a paid adult.
