Special feature added for South Boston Speedway season ticket holders prior to 2015 campaign

SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — South Boston Speedway officials announced last week that season tickets for the action-packed 2015 NASCAR Whelen All American Series season at the historic four-tenths miles asphalt oval are currently on sale.

In addition to guaranteeing admittance to all of the scheduled events at America’s Hometown Track in 2015, season ticket holders will also receive a special pre-season bonus.

Prior to the start of the 2015 season on March 14, South Boston Speedway will host its annual Media Day on Saturday, March 7. Season ticket holders will be able to take part in an exclusive picnic and meet and greet session with the competitors who will be on hand that day for the final pre-season practice before the green flag drops for the new season.

Season tickets are priced at just $150 each. The season tickets would make the perfect holiday gift for the NASCAR short track racing fan on your shopping list.

South Boston Speedway’s 2015 season includes a host of events, and each one will feature the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.

A pair of 100-lap races for the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division will highlight the first event of the season on Saturday, March 14. That first event will also feature action for the Limited Sportsman Division, the Budweiser Pure Stock Division and the Hornets Division.

Also highlighting the upcoming schedule in 2015 will be the annual pre-Fourth of July racing event at America’s Hometown Track on Friday, July 3. In addition to a 200-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division race, a 100-lap Limited Sportsman Division event, and a 50-lap Budweiser Pure Stock Division clash, the July 3 event will also feature South Boston Speedway’s annual Fireworks Extravaganza.

The 2015 schedule includes four major touring series events. The track will host two races for the touring NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Those events are slated for April 4 and Sept. 19. Two races for the PASS South Super Late Model Series are also on the schedule for June 6 and Aug. 15.
