SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — Prices at the gas pump have risen. Prices in the grocery stores have also seen increases, and the cost of fast food products has also been on the way up. But one thing has remained constant the past few years — the cost of a season ticket at America’s Hometown Track.
South Boston Speedway officials recently released their schedule for the 2013 season and, they announced this week that season ticket prices for the 18 action-packed events in the upcoming campaign will remain priced at $150.
The 2013 season will get kicked off on Saturday, March 9, with the running of the Danville Toyota NASCAR Whelen Late Model Twin 100’s racing program.

The annual 200-lap NASCAR Whelen Late Model Stock Car race and the annual Fireworks Extravaganza will be held on July 3. That event will also feature a 100-lap race for the Limited Sportsman Division and a 50-lap race for the Pure Stock Division.
