Season passes for action-packed 2011 season at SoBo priced at only $150
SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — The 2010 season at South Boston Speedway has concluded, but plans are already being made to make the 2011 campaign at America's Hometown Track even more exciting.
South Boston Speedway officials recently unveiled the 2011 racing schedule for the four-tenths mile NASCAR facility. A total of 19 events are planned for the 2011 campaign, which will get cranked up on March 12 and conclude on Oct. 22 with the running of the NASCAR Whelen Late Model 300.
Season tickets good for all 19 events at South Boston Speedway in 2011 are currently on sale and are priced at only $150. The season tickets not only cover the regular NASCAR Whelen All American Series events slated throughout the year, but are also good for the various special events slated during the season.
Gift certificates, which would make ideal Christmas presents for the NASCAR racing fan on your list, are also available at South Boston Speedway in any price increments.
In addition to the NASCAR Whelen Late Model 300 at the end of the season, South Boston Speedway will also stage its annual Independence Day celebration in 2011 on July 1. That event will feature a 200-lap Late Model Stock Car Division race, along with a 100-lap Limited Sportsman event, a 50-lap Pure Stock clash and the track's annual Fireworks Extravaganza.
Other special events on the 2011 South Boston Speedway schedule include two appearances by the touring PASS Super Late Models on May 7 and Aug. 20, an April 16 doubleheader featuring the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, and the USARacing Pro Cup Series will return on June 11.
