A season pass to see all 19 events can be purchased for only $150 and every season pass purchase comes with a free copy of the South Boston Speedway 50th anniversary book. The book is loaded with photos, facts, statistics and feature stories highlighting the first 50 years of racing at the famed NASCAR facility.
South Boston Speedway's 2010 racing season will begin on Saturday, March 13, and will continue through Nov. 6. Once again, the featured attractions of the season will be NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action for the Late Model Stock Car Division, the Limited Sportsman Division, the Pure Stock Division, and the Southern Vintage Modified Division.
The annual 200-lap NASCAR Whelen Late Model Stock Car race and the annual Fireworks Extravaganza will be held on July 2 and South Boston Speedway will also host a 300-lap NASCAR Whelen Late Model Stock Car event on Oct. 16.
Among the touring series scheduled to visit America's Hometown Track in 2010 are the NASCAR Grand National East Series and the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour on April 3. The USARacing Pro Cup Series, formerly known as the Hooters Pro Cup Series, will make two visits to South Boston Speedway in 2010 on June 12 and November 6. The PASS Super Late Model Series along with Rolling Thunder Modifieds will also stage an event at the four-tenths mile asphalt oval on August 28.
