100-lap race for Limited Sportsman Division added to SoBo's season finale on Oct. 31
SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — South Boston Speedway officials have announced the addition of a 100-lap race for Limited Sportsman Division competitors to the season-ending event at the four-tenths mile asphalt oval on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The 100-lap race for the Limited Sportsman Division will be run in conjunction with the USARacing Pro Cup Series (formally known Hooters Pro Cup Series) Championship event slated for Saturday, Oct. 31.
The 250-lap race will help decide the 2009 USARacing Pro Cup Series champion.
"We are excited to add the 100-lap race for the Limited Sportsman Division to the Oct. 31 schedule," South Boston Speedway General Manager Cathy Rice said. "There is a lot of excitement building for the event and it should make a great race program even better."
The complete schedule of events will be announced in the near future as well as ticket prices for the annual shootout.
