Saturday's Late Model Stock Car race results at South Boston Speedway confirmed by NASCAR
SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — South Boston Speedway officials received word Tuesday morning from the NASCAR Research and Development Center in Charlotte, N.C. that race results from Saturday night's Charles Anderson Lawn Care 150 were official.
Results from Saturday's event, which was won by Wayne Ramsey, were pending until a determination came from NASCAR officials Tuesday regarding a part from one of the top finishing cars in Saturday night's race.
Ramsey won the race and David Quackenbush finished second. The rest of the top five in the 150-lap race included Nick Smith in third, Lee Pulliam in fourth and Deac McCaskill in fifth.
The victory was Ramsey's first of the season and made him the sixth different NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Stock Car winner in eight races this season at America's Hometown Track.
