Yellow Book USA Joins SBS Family Of Sponsors
SOUTH BOSTON, VA. - Yellow Book USA, a widely known publisher of regional telephone directories, has joined the family of sponsors at South Boston Speedway.
The company will sponsor the track's Southern Vintage Modified Division for the 2008 season, making the 2008 season the first season that the division has had a sponsor at South Boston Speedway.
"We are very appreciative of Yellow Book USA's interest in coming on board as the sponsor of our Southern Vintage Modified Division," said South Boston Speedway General Manager Cathy Rice.
"The Southern Vintage Modified Division is a very competitive division and we saw a lot of good racing in the division last season. We are expecting another great season of competition in the Southern Vintage Modified Division in 2008 and having Yellow Book USA to sponsor the division will make the division even better."
Yellow Book USA will join Barkhouser Ford-Lincoln-Mercury and Budweiser as division sponsors at South Boston Speedway for the 2008 season. Barkhouser Ford returns as the sponsor of South Boston Speedway's Late Model Stock Car Division and Budweiser returns this season to sponsor the track's Pure Stock Division for four-cylinder sub-compact cars. South Boston Speedway officials are continuing their efforts to secure a division sponsorship for the track's Limited Sportsman Division.
"We are very glad to have Barkhouser Ford and Budweiser return as division sponsors for the 2008 season," said Rice.
"Both companies have enhanced our racing program here at South Boston Speedway during the course of recent seasons and we are very appreciative of their interest in South Boston Speedway and in the drivers and race teams that compete here. We are continuing our efforts to secure a sponsor for the Limited Sportsman Division and hopeful that we will have success with that as well."
