Advance Tickets Available For SBS Hooters Pro Cup Series Race

SOUTH BOSTON, VA. - While South Boston Speedway is idle for the upcoming Easter holiday weekend, track officials are hard at work on the track's next event, the Farmer's Foods 250 USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series race, which comes up on Saturday night, April 14.

The Farmer's Foods 250, the track's first Saturday night racing event of the season, will get the green flag at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a 110-lap race for the drivers and teams of the track's Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division.

Advance adult general admission tickets for the Farmer's Foods 250 are priced at $15 each and will be on sale until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 13. Tickets on race day will be $20 each.

The advance tickets may be purchased at the speedway office any day Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets may also be ordered by calling 877-440-1540.

Tickets for youths ages 10-15 are priced at $10 each. Suite tickets are also available for $40 each. Those tickets may also be ordered in advance.

Kids ages nine and under will be admitted free with a paid adult.

On race day, grandstand gates will open and ticket sales will start at 3 p.m

The Farmer's Foods 250 is the first major special event on South Boston Speedway's 50th Anniversary season schedule. It also is the season-opening event for the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series Northern Division, making it a big event for the Hooters Pro Cup Series.

USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series teams will arrive on Friday, April 13 with the teams getting a practice session from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. that evening.

On Saturday, April 14, Pro Cup practice will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with Pro Cup qualifying set to begin at 4:30 p.m. The Late Model Stock Car Division drivers and teams will also get in a practice session and will qualify Saturday afternoon.

South Boston Speedway will also hold one its special Fan Appreciation events on the track prior to the start of Saturday night's pre-race activities with fans being able to go down on the track, see the cars and meet the drivers.
