NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Barkhouser 150 racing action returns
South Boston Speedway will return to action Saturday night for the running of a NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Barkhouser 150 racing event.
Racing action is slated to get underway at 7 p.m.
The featured attraction of the evening will be a 150-lap race for the Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division.
In addition to the Late Model Stock Car Division, the racing program will feature events for the Strutmasters.com Limited Sportsman Division and the Budweiser Pure Stock Division.
Rounding out action Saturday on the four-tenths mile asphalt oval will be events for the Grand Stock Division, which will be making its 2006 debut at South Boston Speedway, and the touring Southern Vintage Modified series.
Pit gates will open Saturday at 1 p.m. and practice for all divisions will be held from 2:15 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. and qualifying time trials will get underway at 5:15 p.m.
Adult admission for the race will be $8 up to 6:30 p.m. and $10 after that. Youth, ages 10-15, will be admitted for $5 and children under the age of 10 will be admitted free with a paid adult.
