Strutmasters announced as sponsor of Limited Sportsman Division at South Boston Speedway

SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — South Boston Speedway officials announced today that Strutmasters of Roxboro, N.C. will be the official title sponsor for the Limited Sportsman Division at America's Hometown Track in 2006.

Chip Lofton, owner of Strutmasters, which is located off North Main Street in Roxboro, has shown a great interest in short track racing in the past few years. Lofton said he was pleased to come on board as title sponsor for the Limited Sportsman Division at the four-tenths mile South Boston Speedway.

"We are excited about our affiliation with South Boston Speedway and to do so as the sponsor of the Limited Sportsman Division this season," Lofton said. "We feel that it is a win-win situation for us and the speedway. We offer top-notch quality parts for vehicles and South Boston Speedway offers some of the best racing action around."

South Boston Speedway General Manager Cathy Rice said she and her entire staff were ecstatic to have the commitment from Strutmasters.

"We are truly very excited to have Strutmasters on board here at South Boston Speedway," Rice said. "We look forward to continuing the relationship for a very long time."

The action-packed 2006 South Boston Speedway racing season will get cranked up on Saturday, March 25. A total of 19 events are scheduled as part of South Boston Speedway's 2006 schedule. Highlighting the schedule this season will be action for the Late Model Stock Car Division competitors as well as drivers in the Strutmasters Limited Sportsman Division and the Pure Stock Division.

Season tickets, good for all events in 2006, are available for the value price of $150 per person. A season ticket pass for youth, ages 10-15, is available for the 2006 season at a cost of $99.
