Late Model giants to compete this Saturday at South Boston Speedway in Quality Legwear and Red Rose Hosiery 150

South Boston, VA (April 24) – The best late model stock drivers in the nation will collide this Saturday night April 30 at South Boston Speedway in the Quality Legwear and Red Rose Hosiery 150. South Boston known as "America's Hometown Track is famous for its elite Late Model Stock drivers, dating back to the Burton Brothers, Sadler Brothers, Denny Hamlin, Timothy Peters any many others. Things have not changed; the drivers at South Boston are some of the best in the business.

Take this into consideration and add the best Late Model Stock drivers in the nation that tour on a weekly basis with the United Auto Racing Association (UARA) and you are in store with one of the most exciting races on the east coast.

So one might ask who has the advantage. Who is the real underdog? The South Boston regulars or the tour drivers from UARA? No one will actually know until the drop of the checkered flag. Matt McCall will lead the way for the UARA STARS touring drivers along with 2004 UARA Champion Jason York who is fresh off his first 2005 victory at Florence Motor Speedway. These two drivers don't come along when the tour rolls into town. Jamie Yelton, Jamie Caudill, Tony Grady, Lee Tissot, Robert Elliott, Keith Stiltner, Marty Ward, Ashley Huffman, Brandon Ward Kyle Grissom, Steve Pendergrass, RA Brown, Mark King, Nick Hutchins and many more that are capable of winning every time they hit the track.

It will be a full field of talented racers on hand to put on an awesome night of racing action. "This will be an event not to miss. There is a lot of talent at South Boston and we have some great drivers that have Regional Championships and track Championships that can win at any track on any given night. We are expecting over forty-cars and want to invite everyone out for some fun family excitement", commented Public Relations Manger Harold Crook.
