About South Boston Speedway

South Boston SpeedwaySixty was so great, we can’t wait for our 61st season to begin!

Last season, our 60th anniversary, was a big year here at South Boston Speedway, with fireworks, a birthday party, lots of improvements and, of course, amazingly exciting racing.

But now we’re in 2018, our 61st season, and we promise we’re going to do our best to make it the biggest, most exciting and fun season ever for fans, competitors, sponsors, and even for our staff.

We have worked for over 60 years now to be the leader among NASCAR Whelen All-American Series tracks, and with so much help from fans, competitors and sponsors, plus a solid, dedicated staff, we believe we are among the best of the best in weekly racing.

We have put together another strong schedule for the 2018 season, with 14 race dates showcasing our local racing heroes in the four divisions you’ve cheered for the past several years – Late Models, Limiteds, Budweiser Hornets and Budweiser Pure Stocks, plus the recently added Mod 4 division. We also are bringing back the three exciting touring series that we hosted last year: NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, PASS Super Late Models and the CARS Tour Late Models and Super Late Models.

Why don’t you join us for the celebration and excitement that is going to be the 2018 season at South Boston Speedway. We have marketing plans to fit all budgets and needs, plus great rates on group tickets and hospitality. If you’re interested, give us a call or drop us an email today.

A huge “thank you” to everyone that has helped make South Boston Speedway one of the most popular and recognizable weekly racing facilities in the country for the past 60 years. And here’s to making 61 the best ever.

Warmest Regards,

Cathy Rice , General Manager
South Boston Speedway
